About Us
read moreWe are an independent veterinary surgery on Chorley New Road in Bolton, just opposite Queens Park. Our surgery is owned by Vet Stuart Edwards, assisted by our team of nurses and our Practice Manager. You can find more information about our staff on our Meet The Team page. There has been a veterinary surgery on the premises here for over 50 years, with previous owner Mr Barton and later Mr Clare. Stuart took over Queens Park in 2006, and has gotten to know quite a lot of you really well over the years.
Meet the Team at Queens Park Veterinary
read moreWe have a very friendly and enthusiastic team and most of us have been here for a while. We understand and appreciate that you like to have continuity in your pet's veterinary care and would prefer to see the same vet or nurse at every visit. Our Meet The Team page shows you who makes up our team and gives you some background on each of us, including our qualifications. You can see in advance who your pet's appointment will be with, so you will recognise us when you come in. At Queens Park, we are all keen to make your visit to our Practice as pleasant as possible.
Services
read moreHere at Queens Park Veterinary Surgery we can offer many services for you and your pet, including vet and nurse consultations, vaccinations, puppy/kitten clinics and surgery. Surgery ranges from routine neutering through to lump removals, dental surgery and diagnostic x-rays. If we cannot treat your pet here, we will recommend referral to a specialist, which we can organise for you. We are lucky to have in-house blood machines which allows us to run an assortment of blood tests and receive the results almost straight away.
