Recording Studio in Manchester, Greater Manchester
We have 2 sites in Manchester and Cheshire. The Cheshire studio has a large live room, perfect for drum tracking, with separate large vocal booth and control room. We have a new Neve Genesys Black desk with a Pro Tools HDX MADI system for audio capture along with all the latest recording software (Pro Tools, Logic and Ableton). All rooms have stunning precision acoustics courtesy of Roger Darcy with ATC 300 monitoring. We also have an extensive array of world class modern and vintage outboard equipment with a Fairchild 670, GML8200 EQ, LA2A, 1176 and many more.We also have on hire our in-house USA Custom Pork Pie drum kit, Remo congas and a vast array of percussion. We all also have a variety of top class mics including a rare vintage 1960s AKG C24, which has to be heard to be believed.
Our Manchester studio is just five minutes walk from Piccadilly train station, in the Northern Quarter area, surrounded by bars and restaurants. This site is perfect for solo artists or small bands (no drums), voiceovers, audio post production (TV, film, internet), mixing, mastering, song writing and our music tech courses.
We use professional recording equipment with a Studio Mods acoustically treated room, Adam monitoring, with a UAD system and Neumann mics and have a separate vocal booth.
We also have a dry hire service so you can bring along your own producer and hook into our system to take advantage of our acoustics and equipment without compromising your own workflow.

read moreOur voiceover recordings and post-production studio is ideal for TV and film companies, radio, online courses and spoken word recordings.We use broadcast standard Neumann U87 microphones and acoustically treated quiet booths to ensure precise recordings with no background noise. In the voiceover booth we have a TV/video link up so can add voice to film in sync with pictures ideal for ADR.

We conveniently have two studios to cater for all situations and budgets. The main studio is located in Knutsford on the outskirts of Manchester about 15 minutes from the airport in the beautiful Cheshire countryside. For those requiring a city centre location we have a studio in Manchester's Northern Quarter, 5 minutes walk from Piccadilly Station and 2 minutes walk from Piccadilly Gardens in the heart of the city centre.
