The Department of Transport have published a Road Safety Research Report No. 81 which says learners take a mean average of 52 hours of professional tuition before taking their test over a period of 14 months. Using the LDC System of tuition almost all of my pupils are taking their tests at between 30 and 35 hours, about 20 hours less than the average of all other driving schools according to the DoT. At today's lesson prices this means not only a saving of over J400 but getting to that test much faster.
