read moreAt Learn 2 Drive we can give you different options to start you driving. In all cases you will need to hold your provisional license. If you have applied for your license and just waiting for it to come through you can still book lessons ahead of time but you must have the license prior to the date that you start driving. This is the way most people have instruction, the more traditional method of training. For many people the training finishes at their test with a few taking the Pass Plus course after the test (See courses).

read moreThe test is conducted on a computer screen, where in the multiple choice section you will be asked 50 questions based around the highway code, you must get 43 correct answers to pass this section. There is a brief introduction and you can practice a few questions before the test begins. You will have 57 minutes to complete this part. If you are not sure of an answer you can 'flag' the question to return to it later. When the multiple choice section is completed, the hazard perception part will begin.

As a rough guide it takes 2 hours of tuition for every year of age you are, ie 20 years old-40 hours tuition (source DSA) Although people can get to this point quicker or a lot slower. What can help a lot is private practice with friends or family when you have enough confidence and control. But remember you are paying for the lessons, if you are not getting what you believe you should be, you can always change. Mobility Lots of pupils like to take a lesson on their birthday and we can help with that.

Normally taken in one week. 24hrs similar to the first option but with more emphasis on individual weakness, manoeuvres, test routes. 40hrs this is very much for those new to driving who have a real need to get through quickly. Starts with the basics and works through to preparing you for driving independently and passing your test. As the course is very intensive this can be taken over 1 or 2 weeks. Am I ready?
