You must pass both parts of the test in the same sitting, to be able to progress to the practical driving test. This will include a 20 minute section called Independent Driving. During this phase of the test you will follow directions given by a Sat-Nav provided by the Examiner. In 1 in 5 of tests, this phase will be conducted with you following signs and road markings. In both cases you must negotiate all situations correctly and safely.
