Disgruntled
This outfit is terrible. Jim sat next to me stinking of drink. I think he was still drunk. All he went on about was how he battered some poor woman. Choosing these guys was a mistake. None

Great instructor
Jim is a great driving instructor and would totally recommend him. I've had numerous driving instructors and got nowhere but Jim is brilliant at teaching and has given me the confidence I needed. Would 100%recommend learning to drive with G &M driving school Value for Money

Instructor Training
read moreTo become a fully qualified ADI you need to pass three parts of the Driving Standards Agency (DSA) qualifying examination. The DSA is the Government body which oversees all driving tuition in the UK. By law, to provide paid driving instruction in the UK you must pass all three exams. Other qualifications such as NVQ or BTEC in driving instruction are not considered adequate and therefore do not entitle you to operate as a driving instructor in the UK, or anywhere else in Europe. Before you can consider becoming an Approved Driving Instructor you must have held a clean driving licence for 3.6 years out of the previous 6 and not have any criminal convictions.
Driving Tests
read moreThe Theory Test has been developed to focus new drivers on knowing how to be safe on the roads. The test is a series of multiple choice questions that test the student's ability to identify hazards on the road and how to avoid them. You must bring along your provisional driving licence and some other acceptable proof of identity that bears your name, photograph and signature. The questions vary between straight text; text with graphics of road signs; and text with photographs of road and driving scenarios.
Pass Plus
read morePASS PLUS is a training scheme for newly qualified drivers and is much more than just a few extra driving lessons. When you have successfully completed the course, you should check available discounts offered by insurance companies who take part in the scheme. PASS PLUS consists of six practical modules which cover driving in town, in all weathers, on rural roads, at night, on dual carriageways and on motorways. In exceptional circumstances, if a module can't be done on the road it will be covered in a theory session.
