Enable Ability

read moreA Happy New Year to you all. Following the Governments Lockdown requirement, Trustees and Managers have discussed what Enable Ability can continue to provide in the coming months. Most of our services and activities have been suspended as it would not be safe for our families or staff to provide them at this time. So, play schemes, teenage and youth projects, advocacy and most of the befriending support has been suspended. We are in discussion with Portsmouth City Council about the provision of a half term play scheme, and we will update you as soon as possible.

read moreInter Activ is a Social Enterprise in Portsmouth and based at the Landport Community Centre in the heart of the city. The social enterprise has been fully funded for three years from 2019 by The National Lottery Community Fund, for which we are eternally grateful, after which it plans to be self-sufficient both operationally and financially. Inter Activ has a number of working partners including PALS Society, Portsmouth College, Job Centre Plus and Portsmouth City Council. It has registered with the DWP's programme called Disability Confident at the Committed level to receive and share best practices when working with young people with disabilities.
