With an automatic vehicle you just start the engine and select Drive, and release the handbrake, without the problems of finding the biting point and changing gear when you're moving. Once on the road there is no clutch, which allows you to fully concentrate on the road ahead.

When you're learning to drive it is important that you feel at ease and relaxed with not only your instructor, but also the vehicle in which you drive. Our professional instructors will guide you from the beginning, though the theory and hazard perception test, leading to passing the driving test then becoming a safe and competent driver.

read moreThe practical driving test seems to some people to be very daunting and nerve racking, but it does not need to be. Provided that you are fully prepared for it, the more confident you will feel and you can take your driving instructor with you. The test consists of a drive of approximately 40 - 45 minutes depending on road, traffic and weather conditions. You will be asked 2 simple questions on the "Show me tell me" part of the exam. You will be given a copy of all the DSA questions /answers by Alfie.
