read moreThe Armstrong family have been involved in farming for generations, originally in Ballynahinch then to a small farm and grocers shop in the Cregagh area of Belfast. In 1948, due to the redevelopment of the area Armstrong Meats then moved to a larger farm at Lisnabreeney Road in Castlereagh. It was a natural progression into the meat business starting out only supplying pork reared by ourselves then moving into poultry, beef, lamb and all other associated products which we supply today. Over the years we have built a reputation for supplying our customers every need which is reflected by our large customer database.

We supply standard cuts of meat but also specialize in products such as sliced chuck steak for the kebab trade, trimmed and sliced topside for the Chinese trade. As you can see the list is endless and we believe that we can supply any product required once we are given the specification by the customer.

Both shops offer unrivalled levels of customer service and satisfaction often envied by our competition and take great pride supplying our customers with only the finest locally sourced meat and meat products. All our beef is hand picked and dry aged on the bone to give it flavour, tenderness and quality guaranteed. The Lisburn Road branch specialises in a wide range of wild game including venison from the Sperrin Mountains in Co Tyrone, pheasants from Newtonstewart, woodpigeon from Co Cavan, wild and farmed rabbit, guinea fowl and quail.
