Your portrait session will take approximately an hour, during which time you will be shown a variety of Portrait styles and finishes. Then, only after we have determined your tastes and the style of your home furnishings, will we begin to create the Portraits that will accompany you and your family throughout your lives. We will photograph a variety of groupings and by using a combination of lighting and posing techniques, provide you with a wide selection of images to choose from at your viewing session.

The viewing sessions last around an hour and take place a week to ten days later. From the choices you make, the finished portraits will be available between ten and fourteen days later.

There are a variety of finishes available for portraits, these include contemporary canvas wraps, frameless finished prints, and traditional prints in mounts.

All prints are made using traditional photographic materials. Our traditional prints are produced through controlled Photographic chemical processes and backed by Fuji and Kodak to last 100 years*

A portrait sitting at our studio costs 35 and covers the sitting and the viewing session. From there the Portraits are available on a per print basis.

Prior to your day we will have met with you several times, and visited all the venues at least once. This allows us to be fully prepared to provide you with the pictures YOU want.

Photographing any wedding is a privilege and yours will be no exception. Be it a full-blown fairy-tale on the other side of the world or a low key remarriage at a civil ceremony more locally.

All the pictures from your big day will be available to view online within seven days. Many of our wedding couples use their hotels internet access whilst on honeymoon, to see their pictures for the first time. We can also circulate the address of the proofs to your guests therefore making it possible for them to see your photographs regardless of their geographical location.

In my large studio I can accommodate large family groups of up to 18 people, which is ideal for extended families, or three or even four generation family groups.

read moreWe can shoot Large Multi Generational Family Portraits up to 15 people in our York Studio, which is ideal for two, three or even four generation family portraits. The Portrait sitting can be held at say, 11 am in the morning, then we can hold the viewing session in the afternoon. Allowing your whole family to enjoy a family lunch at one of the many restaurants in York, while we prepare your photographs for viewing. These sessions can be photographed on a Saturday or Sunday as part of your celebrations, or during the week if everyone is available.
